2 remain at-large in home invasion

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz has reported the arrests of four people in the case stemming from an incident that occurred about 2 a.m. July 5 on J.R. Road near Eunice.
A group of males armed with guns who entered a residence around 2 a.m. and took turns beating the owner with their guns and shouting “where is the money?” a news release from Guidroz said.
The group stole the cell phones from the occupants of the house, which included the owner and three other victims, one of which is several months pregnant, Guidroz said.
The owner was treated for a broken jaw, collapsed lung, and a fractured eye socket sustained from the beating, he said.
After the group left the house the house was shot with a .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol, Guidroz said.
Investigators recovered casings and a lead projectile in the living room floor, he said.
The owner identified the group as members of the Eunice gang, “Goons for Life,” Guidroz said.
Eunice Police officers recovered a High Point .45-caliber pistol and a H&R Handy 40-70 caliber rifle, which are being sent to the Acadiana Crime Lab for analysis, he said.
Darius Kain Bruno Bazile, 19, and Isaiah Bradley, 17, were arrested July 6 on charges of home invasion, aggravated second-degree battery, two counts of armed robbery, four counts of a attempted second-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree feticide.
Guidroz said two other suspects, Damarcus Lafleur, 20, 200 block of Ulysses Street, Eunice; and Vashantae Mahon, 21, 300 block of East Maple Avenue, Eunice; have surrended to deputies. They face the same charges as Bazile and Bradley.
Still sought on those charges are Deomaante Frank, 17, 100 block of Aymond Street, Eunice; and Eric Williams, 20, 200 block of South Mallet Street, Eunice.
“During the investigation the victim was able to identify the suspects and warrants were issued for their arrest. The investigation is ongoing and additional warrants are expected on more suspects that seen to be involved,” Guidroz said.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 cash reward for their capture.
