Eunice police investigate robbery, home invasion

Four men armed with pistols, shotguns and assault rifles invaded a home in the 400 block of Cotton Street and robbed its occupants, according to Varden Guillory Sr., Eunice police deputy chief.
Officers received a call about a robbery-home invasion at about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday.
One of the four victims was injured, but refused medical treatment, Guillory reported.
Officers learned that four black males entered the residence and took cash and cell phones from the victims, he said.
The victims were forced to lie face down and was tied during the robbery, Guillory said.
The suspects were wearing dark clothing and bandannas over their faces, he said.
