Evangeline arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 13 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Joshua Seth Guillory, 19, 1279 Red Fox Lane, Ville Platte, was charged September 30, with DWI (first offense) and careless operation. Guillory was released from jail on a $1,776.50 bond.
•Tyler Joseph Lasage, 18, 1973 James Ortego Road, Mamou, was charged October 1, with possession of synthetic cannabinol, driver must be licensed, careless operation and no seat belt. Lasage was being held in jail on a $8,000 bond at press time.
•Justin O’Neal Poullard, 25, 1327 MLK Drive, Ville Platte, was charged September 30, with flight from an officer, possession of Schedule II, violation of a drug free zone and transaction of drug proceeds. Poullard was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Coby Shane Deville, 19, 1015 Jake Lane, Mamou, was charged September 30, with theft over $500. Deville remained in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Shani Y. Adams-Houston, 33, 1024 Fourth St., Mamou, was charged October 2, with identity theft (three counts). Adams-Houston was released from jail on a $3,000 bond.
•Willie Melvin, 30, 421 W. Cypress St., Ville Platte, was charged October 6, with possession of PCP, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace and criminal damage to property. Melvin remained in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time .
•Rininski Valdez Edwards, 23, 225 High School Drive, Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with speeding, driving under suspension and resisting an officer. Edwards was released from jail on a $651.50 bond.
•Lamar Paul Landry II, 45, 1257 Maybeuville Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 2, with unauthorized use of a moveable. Landry remained in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Brian Keith Thomas, 33, 1102 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 6, with possession of Schedule II and resisting an officer. Thomas was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Darrell Glenn May, 38, 517 Highway 10, Washington, was charged October 6, with possession of crystal meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer by flight and vagrancy. May was being held in jail on a $12,500 bond at press time.
•Ricky G. Gaspard Jr., 30, 4602 Partianut Drive, Alexandria, was charged October 7, with theft. Gaspard was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Andre Michael McDaniel, 35, 2167 Dustin Morgan Road, Opelousas, was charged October 7, with theft and trespassing. McDaniel was being held in jail on a $2,500 bond at press time.
•Percy Ardoin, 1317 Cherry St., Mamou, was charged October 7, with aggravated assault. Ardoin was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
