Vehicle burglars strike overnight

Police Chief Randy Fontenot is urging residents to lock their vehicle doors after at least four vehicle burglaries were investigated overnight.
The full tally of vehicle break-ins was not by Tuesday morning, Fontenot said. The chief expects more reports today.
So far, all of the vehicle break-ins have occurred to unlock vehicles, he said.
The break-ins occurred in Southeast Eunice, he said.
