Fire at Brown's Furniture; 200 block of East Laurel closed

Eunice Fire Department responded to a fire in the second floor back portion of Brown's Furniture Store at 231 E. Laurel Avenue.

The 200 block of East Laurel/U.S. Hwy. 190 was closed as firefighters ran a hose across the street, and traffic was being redirected through side roads.

No information on the cause of the fire is available at this time.
