St. Edmund seniors Cullen Brown and Heidi Bieber will finish their high school athletic careers at the Class 1-A state track meet Friday at LSU’s Bernie Moore Track Complex.
Brown qualified for the state meet in the hurdles, while Bieber will compete in the pole vault and shot put.

No. 18 St. Edmund earned a 5-4 win over No. 15 Ascension Christian Monday in the bi-district round of the Class 1-A baseball playoffs.
The Eunice High Bobcats scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to claim a 4-3 victory over the Kaplan High Pirates in opening round action of the Class 3A state playoffs played Monday at Bobcat Field.
FRANKLIN – It was a defensive batte betweem No. 3 Hanson Memorial and No. 14 St. Edmund in the regional round of the State Class 1-A playoffs.
PORT ALLEN – The St. Edmund Blue Jays finished second and the Lady Jays finished fourth in the District 5-1A meet, swept by host Catholic High of Pointe Coupee.
