Bertrand, Frey announce engagement

Dave “Joe” and Rhonda Davis Bertrand of Evangeline are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lacey Denaye Bertrand, to Brandon Joseph Frey, son of Francis and Germaine Manuel Frey of Iota.
Miss Bertrand is the granddaughter of Myrle and Betty Manuel Bertrand of Evangeline, and Ivy and Dorothy Sonnier Davis of Jennings.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Iota High School and Louisiana State University Eunice where she earned a degree in Business Management. She is currently employed with “The Bank” in Jennings.
Mr. Frey is the grandson of Sylvester and the late Helen Reiners Frey of Iota, and the late Clem Sr. and Bessie Courville Manuel of Eunice.
The groom-elect is a graduate of  Iota High School and earned a Business Management degree from Louisiana State University Eunice.He is currently employed at LSU Ag Center Rice Research Station.
The couple will exchange vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 9  at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota.
