River of Life hosts carnival

River of Life Fellowship in Iota held their annual community carnival Saturday. There were live animals at their petting zoo, face painting, train rides for the children, carnival-style games and more. The Iota Fire Department & Rescue Unit (ambulance) and Iota Police Department were also there giving tours of the fire truck and police car. River of Life holds the community carnival as a way to give back to the community in celebration of the church’s birthday every year.
