Eunice Community Health Center offers help with prescriptions

Eunice Community Health Center is available to offer a hand-up to Louisiana residents affected by the flooding.
The Center’s free pharmacy will assist residents by providing a one-time fill, of non-narcotic prescriptions that have been submerged in floodwaters or similar situations. Emergency medication refills are completely free, based on stock availability.
A Louisiana flood affected resident will need to provided; identification, a labeled prescription bottle, a prescription or a prescription printout from a pharmacy. In the event the Center cannot supply a prescription need, there are other avenues available.
Eventually, TDAP (Tetanus) vaccine will be provided free, compliments of Direct Relief. Any adult (age 19+ years) exposed to flood waters; including evacuees, rescuers, clean-up crews, city and construction workers to name a few, needs to receive the vaccination if a Tetanus has not been received in the past seven years. TDAP availability dates will posted upon arrival.
Over-the-counter drugs and personal care items also are available at the Eunice Community Health Center free pharmacy.
