Fȇte-Dieu du Teche plans altered

Due to the recent heavy rains that have impacted water levels in Bayou Teche, the format of the second annual Fȇte-Dieu du Teche on Monday has been altered.
The boat part of the planned Eucharistic Procession has been cancelled.
Pending open roadways to allow for it, Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel is still scheduled to celebrate 8 a.m. Mass at St. Leo the Great Church in Leonville.  Likewise, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and recitation of the rosary will be offered as follows:
10:20 a.m. St. Francis Regis Church, Arnaudville
11:45 a.m. St. Joseph Church, Cecilia
1:35 p.m. Borel Center, Breaux Bridge
3:15 p.m. St. Joseph Church, Parks
4:45 p.m. Notre Dame de Perpetuel Secours, St. Martinville
5:00 p.m. St. Martin de Tours Church, St. Martinville
6:00 p.m. Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel, St. Martinville
