Fire on Corn Street

The Eunice Fire Department, Eunice Police Department, Eunice City Marshal's Office and Acadia Parish Sheriff's Department responded to a mobile home fire in the 300 block of Corn Street just after 8 a.m. Tuesday. According to Eunice Fire Chief Mike Arnold, occupants of the home were inside the residence when the fire started, but they escaped the residence unharmed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
