Local Pharmacy Burglary Yields Little Clues

No arrests or suspects have been made in the burglary of a local pharmacy– which has left the Eunice Police Department clueless after a weekend of investigation.
According to police radio logs, officers responded to a simple burglary call on Friday morning, shortly after 8 a.m. in the 200 block of North 2nd Street.
Picou’s Pharmacy was burglarized “overnight”, according to Eunice Police on Friday.
While the matter is still under investigation, police said that the suspect entered the pharmacy through the wall. A large, but undisclosed, amount of prescription drugs were taken, according to the police. It is unknown if the suspect stole any money or other items from Picou’s Pharmacy.
Detectives are still reviewing the video surveillance at this time but have been unable to determine the identity of the suspect due to the quality of the surveillance video.
Police are asking for anyone with information in regards to the burglary to call the Eunice Police Department at (337)457-2626.
