Sattler seeking council seat

Marion “Nootsie” Sattler has announced he will be a candidate in the Nov. 4 primary for the Eunice City Council from Ward 3.
Sattler said this is the first time that he will seek elected office and that he decided to do so after a fire destroyed his home last year and help came from the community.
“It’s time for me to give back, to be there for everybody,” he said.
Sattler, who works at Sattler Supply, is married to the former Lori Simar. Their daughter Chelsea is a McNeese State freshman and their son Trevor is a Eunice High freshman.
Sattler is active at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
