The Plaisance school was the worst hit of parish schools, he said.
Washington Elementary’s gymnasium and the main building took on water, but custodial staff got the water off floors quickly, he said.
Schools were mostly affected by leaky roofs, he said.

The Eunice schools are ready for students to return, Brown said Tuesday.
However, schools will remain closed until Monday.
