Trio arrested in connection with Church Point bank robbery

A trio of suspects allegedly involved in last week’s Church Point bank robbery were booked in the Eunice city jail on Tuesday, according to Eunice Police Department arrest records.
Two females, Shawnquela Renee Lazaro, 26, of Church Point, and Charlotte Iashia Lazaro, 24, of Church Point; were arrested and charged for accessory after the fact of armed robbery of a financial institution.
The two females were detained after a traffic stop in Eunice found them allegedly transporting Jahmihron Lazaro.
Both had arrest warrants for Acadia Parish on the charges.
Jahmihron J.J. Lazaro, 21, 1558 Linden Grove Road, Church Point was arrested and charged with armed robbery of a financial institution. He also had an arrest warrant for Acadia Parish on the charge.
The relationship of the Lazaro suspects is unknown.
Another person of interest, Mitchell Walter Lazaro, has reportedly surrendered to authorities at this time after allegedly turning himself into Church Point Police Department early Wednesday morning.
Arrested on December 12, Javonta Lazaro, of Church Point, was one of the first suspects arrested in the Church Point bank robbery along with Alinkay Carletta Wiley, 19, also of Church Point.
No further information has been made available from the Eunice Police Department at this time.
