Voter Education Week begins Monday

The St. Landry Parish Registrar of Voter Office will be conducting voter registration drives Monday through Friday during Voter Education Week.  The office staff will visit locations throughout the parish.
Voters are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to register to vote. Registering to vote is a right we should all cherish to make our voice heard.
The week activities are as follows:
Monday
Beau Chene High School, Arnaudville, 10:30-Noon
Palmetto Fire Hall, Palmetto, 1 to 4 p.m.
Tuesday
Piggly Wiggly North, Opelousas, 9 a.m. until noon
Eunice High School, Eunice, 10:30 a.m. until noon
PIggly Wiggly South, Opelousas, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Wednesday
Grand Coteau Town Hall, Grand Coteau, 9 a.m. until noon
Northwest High School, Opelousas, 10:30 until noon
Sunset City Hall, Sunset, 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Thursday
Southwest Community Center, Eunice, 8 a.m. until noon
MACA Academy of Cultural Arts, Opelousas, 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Eunice City Hall, Eunice, 1 until 4 p.m.
Friday
Arnaudville Town Hall, Arnaudville, 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Office will be open regular business hours during this week. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., St. Landry Parish Court House.
