BATON ROUGE – Services for real estate investor Winder “Hart” Dunbar will be Friday. He died Oct. 22 at age 83.
He was a decorated U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and the last residing family member at his mother’s childhood home, Magnolia Mound Plantation. He was a member of the Hart Estate Board.
Survivors include his wife Shirley and three children.
Arrangements are by Greenoaks.

D-Day vet, detective

ALEXANDRIA – Services for D-Day veteran and retired detective Leon Blalock, Sr. will be Friday. He died Oct. 20 at age 94.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the invasion at Omaha Beach in 1944. He was an Alexandria police detective for more than 20 years.
Survivors include two sons.
Arrangements are by John Kramer & Son.

Tulane gifts officer

NEW ORLEANS – Services for long-time Tulane University employee Ann Jahncke will be Nov. 1. She died Oct. 1 at age 64.
She was former assistant to the Dean of Newcomb and retired as major gifts officer for the School of Social Work.
Survivors include her husband Stanton and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Tharp-Sontheimer.
