BASILE~ Jamice Johnson Fruge died on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the age of 86. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father David Hebert Celebrant.

Survivors include her son, Ron Richard and wife, Dee of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Rachel Christmas of Camp LeJeune, N.C., Ann Marie Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla. and Katherine Dorman of Charleston, S.C. and six great-grandchildren, Ryan David, Caroline, Garrett and Anna-Grace Christmas, David and Charlie Taylor.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Nelson Richard.

Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Basile on Friday, Oct. 18 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 8:00 am until time of services. Father David Hebert will recite a Rosary at 6 Friday evening.
