EUNICE ~ Visiting hours for Michael W. Edwards, Sr. will be from 8:00 am to 9:30 am with a Memorial Service following at 9:30 am Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Frank Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Marlon Clark officiating.
Michael W. Edwards, Sr., age 61, passed away October 30, 2016 at 3:19 pm at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, LA.
Michael was affiliated with Solid Rock Ministry of Oberlin. He enjoyed cooking, listening to music, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his father, Russell B. Edwards, Sr. (Charlotte) of Kinder; four sons: Tyrone W. Edwards of Port Arthur, TX, Jonathan W. Edwards of Houston, TX, Anthony W. August (Mistie) of Philadelphia, MS., Lawrence B. Edwards of Eunice; two daughters, Gwendolyn M. Guillory of Rayne, and Sharron S. Thomas of Opelousas; four brothers: Leonce Edwards and Paul Edwards, both of Eunice, Roy Edwards (Chasity) of Kinder, and Calvin Edwards (Sharon) of Paris, Arkansas; one sister, Carolyn Edwards of Eunice; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Stevens Edwards; one daughter, Dwanna B. Poullard; one son, Michael W. Edwards, Jr., and one brother, Russell Edwards, Sr.
