St Landry Parish field day provides plethora of information

An LSU AgCenter field day held on July 6 at the Charlie Fontenot farm in St. Landry Parish offered a smorgasbord of information on a variety of crops and ways to grow them.

One of the world’s leading rice geneticists will speak at the annual field day at the LSU AgCenter H. Rouse Caffey Rice Research Station on June 29.

Rice farmers hear optimistic outlook for 2016

Rice farmers attending the first three of a series of LSU AgCenter producer meetings came away with reasons for optimism this year, with the start of planting season only two months away.
