“Although this year’s tournament seemed to have a lot going against it with this terrible flood devastating our state, I am extremely happy with the turnout from our wonderful Bobcat nation,” tournament chairman Tara Leblanc said.
“We have something very special at EHS that not all schools are lucky enough to have.
“We have alumni that still love their Alma Mater and want to support it in any way they can and this tournament proves that after 10 years of success,” she said.
“Our tournament committee, Becky Sonnier, Sandifer Burson, Kristy McLemore and myself make a great team,” Leblanc said. “The support of our alumni board and officers is instrumental for the tournament to happen.
“Our backbone, the EHS baseball, softball and volleyball teams along with the cheerleaders and booster club work very hard to make this tournament the success it is.
Without our team captains, players and the volunteers that devote countless hours to this event we could not have it either.”
