Eunice News Player of the Week

Eunice High junior quarterback Jaden Brasseaux completed seven of seven passes for 200 yards and a touchdown in leading the Bobcats to a 54-6 victory over Pine Prairie.
Brasseaux, who passed the 1,000-yard mark for the season with his performance, was selected as the Eunice News Player of the Week for November 8-13.
Other top performers this past week included Brasseaux’s teammate, Avery Lee. The sophomore running back eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the season by rushing for 120 yards on just six carries. Included in Lee’s rushing attempts was a 70-yard touchdown run.
St. Edmund running back Luke Doucet rushed 26 times for 110 yards in the Blue Jays double overtime victory over the Basile Bearcats.
Church Point running back Rodney Dupuis rushed for 134 yards on 17 carries with four touchdowns as the Bears romped past Ville Platte by a 50-6 margin.
Basile’s Rashawn Murphuy caught four touchdowns in the Bearcats’ double overtime loss to the Blue Jays.
