A campaign to brand and bring the good news about St. Landry Parish to the forefront was introduced to about 50 people at the St. Landry Economic Development office Thursday.

Hearing set on School Board budget

A project of a $157,000 in excess revenue in the St. Landry Parish School Board’s 2015-16 budget may be trimmed by $71,000.
The board plans a public hearing on its proposed budget at 4 p.m. Monday at the Supplemental Resource Center, 1013 E. Creswell Lane, Opelousas.

School Board: Budget, bonds, annual leaves

The St. Landry Parish School Board is to consider tightening the number of days 12-month employees can accumulate.
The board’s Executive Committee voted Monday to send the question to the board at its Aug. 3 meeting.
