Crowley woman killed in nightclub parking lot accident

A man is charged with vehicular homicide after his vehicle struck and killed a Crowley woman in a bar here.
According to police, Kylie Pannell, 22, died after being struck by Chase Franks' vehicle on the parking lot of Cowboyt's Nightclub.
Off-duty Scott officers working security were alerted to the crash that happened after the bar closed for the night. Police said they immediately began to render medical aid to Pannell, but she died after being transported to the hospital.
According to KATC TV, Franks told police that Pannel ran in front of his vehicle as he was leaving, and he didn't see her until he hit her.
Police said Franks failed a standardized field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.082g%. He was booked on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol and Vehicular Homicide.
Blood alcohol content of Pannell will come from post-mortem analysis.
