The initial investigation revealed that a 2001 Mercury Marquis, operated by Chapman, 55,, was traveling westbound on La. 442 near La. 1065. Chapman, for reasons under investigation, veered to the left, exited the roadway, lost control, and struck a culvert causing the Mercury to overturn.
