Teen killed trying to walk across I-10 about 2 a.m.

Shortly before 2 a.m. today, Lafayette Police responded to the westbound lane of I-10 near Ambassador Caffery exit regarding a crash involving a pedestrian.
According to the operator of the vehicle, she was traveling west on I-10 when she struck the victim’s body lying in the roadway.
Investigators indicated that the victim, Grant Ingram, 18, was crossing I-10 for unknown reasons when he was struck by multiple vehicles. The victim may have been struck by other vehicles prior to the person who contacted police. Investigators are encouraging anyone who may have witness the crash to call Lafayette Police at 337-291-8600.
