Crenshaw, Devillier exchange vows during June evening ceremony

New Hope Fellowship in Eunice served as the setting uniting Natalie Elizabeth Crenshaw and Alex Lee Devillier in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held Saturday, June 11 at 6 p.m. with Rev. Woody Gunnels officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Marvin and Beth Crain and Keith and Julie Crenshaw, all of West Monroe, and the groom is the son of Lee and Nancy Devillier of Eunice.
Grandparents of the bride are Ellis and Mary Frost and Henson and Lucille Crenshaw, all of West Monroe.
Grandparents of the groom are Rudolph and Eva Devillier of Opelousas and the late Burleigh and Nettie Joy Young of Eunice.
The bride, given away by her father and mother, was radiant in an ivory A-line corset gown with an ivory classic veil. She carried a hand-held bouquet of sunflowers and white daisies.
Wedding planners for the ceremony were Evelyn Ashord and Pam Veillon. Ushers for the ceremony were Richard Newman III and Rylan Newman of Eunice.
Serving as maid of honor was Morgan Fletcher of West Monroe. Bridesmaids were Amaya Smith of West Monroe, cousin of the bride; Kandace Bennett of New Orleans, and Lauren Baldwin of Slidell, both friends of the bride.
The attendants wore knee-length Oasis teal one-shoulder corded lace dresses.
Flower girl was Elizabeth Lavergne of Eunice, daughter of Wesley and Donna Lavergne.
Ring bearer was Jonathon Lavergne, son of Wesley and Donna Lavergne.
Best man was Brad Devillier of Lafayette, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Dustin Ashford of Eunice, friend of the groom; Marvin Crain of West Monroe, step-father-in-law of the bride; and Max Parish of New Orleans, friend of the groom.
The groom and groomsmen chose black vest, Oasis teal tie, grey pants and black shoes for the ceremony.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Ruby’s Restaurant and Courtyard in Eunice.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas and have made their home in West Monroe.
The bride is a graduate of the School of Urban Missions Theological Seminary & Bible College in New Orleans, and the groom is currently attending the School of Urban Missions Theological Seminary & Bible College.
