LeDoux, Fuselier exchange vows during Nuptial Mass ceremony

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice served as the setting for the evening double-ring Nuptial Mass ceremony uniting Maggie Angelle LeDoux and Zachary Anthony Fuselier in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held on Friday, Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m. with Father Ed Duhon officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Michele and Wayne Stelly of Eunice, and the late Mark LeDoux.
The groom is the son of Eric and Hope Dupuis of Eunice, and Bobby and Jenny Fuselier of Kinder.
Readers were Paula Fuselier, godmother of the bride, and Emily Redwood, step sister of the groom.
Gift bearers during the ceremony were Alec Prevost, cousin of the bride, and Ty Fuselier, step brother of the groom.
Musicians during the ceremony were Meredith Discher, Erica Carlson and Alicia Jarreau, vocalist. Organist was Connie Beaugh and Joe Stemplewski accompanied as trumpeter.
Ushers were Ryan Johnson and Marshall Arabie of Eunice.
The bride, given away by her mother, was stunning in an ivory and light gold lace design by Allure.
The strapless slim-fitted gown featured a slightly scooped neckline with delicate lace appliques covering the entire overlay.
The light gold satin ruched waistband was accented with a beautiful embellishment of light gold satin rosettes encrusted with miniature pearls and Swarovski crystals.
She wore a fingertip veil featuring iridescent sequins, beads and Swarovski crystals, finished in ivory and gold metallic stitching accented with an intricate jeweled vintage comb.
The bride carried a hand-held bouquet of ivory vendella roses, lisianthus, hydrangea, and miniature calla lilly accented with vintage rhinestone brooches throughout. The bouquet was wrapped and knotted together with an ivory satin ribbon and diamond studs.
Matron of honor was Lainey Smith of Eunice, sister of the bride.
Bridal attendants included Katie Klein, Taylor Richard of Eunice, friends of the bride, Kaitlin Prevost of Rayne, cousin of the bride, Alex Mire of Lafayette, and Katie Fuselier of Eunice, sisters-in-law of the bride.
The bridesmaids wore an eggplant chiffon gown with a vertically ruched bodice featuring a one- shoulder design with floral detail and flowing A-line skirt.
The bridesmaids carried hand-held bouquets of purple stock, green cymbidium orchids, white calla lillies with dark purple center, lavender roses and green hypericum berries tied with sheer eggplant ribbon and accented with a rhinestone initial of the bridesmaids first name.
Flower girls were Bella Smith, daughter of A.J. and Lainey Smith of Eunice, goddaughter of the bride; and Lucy Mire, daughter of Joel and Alex Mire of Lafayette, niece of the groom.
Ring bearer was Luke Mire, son of Joel and Alex Mire of Lafayette, nephew of the groom.
Jerod Fontenot of Eunice, friend of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Chase Guillory of Vidrine, Michael Ramirez of Ville Platte, Edward Turk of Eunice, all friends of the groom, Joel Mire of Lafayette and A.J. Smith of Eunice, brothers-in-law of the groom.
The ushers, groomsmen and groom were attired in a gray two-button notch lapel tuxedo edged in satin with matching pants. The groomsmen wore an eggplant vest and matching Windsor tie. The groom wore an ivory shirt, vest and tie.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the La Belle Venue in Eunice.
The bride’s cake was a three-tiered round confection with ivory butter cream frosting. Each layer was embellished with rhinestone cake banding and featured a single vintage rhinestone brooch in the center.
Atop the cake was a rhinestone initial of the couple’s last name. Guests enjoyed fillings of amaretto raspberry and pecan praline.
The groom’s cake was a unique design depicting the groom’s hobby of performing as a DJ (Disc-Jockey). The confection was a large replica of a DJ turn table. The cake featured pineapple and caramel pecan filling.
The couple took a honeymoon cruise to Yucatan and Cozumel Mexico and have made their home in Eunice.
