3 arrested in home invasion, armed robbery in Eunice; 1 suspect still sought

Three people are charged and a fourth person is sought in a pre-dawn home invasion-armed robbery that occurred May 16 on East Peach Avenue in Eunice.

Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said the victim was sleeping at 4:30 a.m. when a white male entered hid bedroom and turned the light on while armed with a semi-automatic pistol.

The victim was ordered to go into the kitchen where two more armed, masked suspects were present, Fontenot said. The masked intruders then began searching the house for items to steal, he said.

Meanwhile, Fontenot said one of the suspects struck the victim on the side his face fracturing bone.

Another victim in the house was taken into a bathroom and beaten, he said.

Fontenot said the following were arrested Friday: Mariyah Aucoin, 18 and Colby Thibodeaux, 21, both of Church Point. Aucoin and Thibodeaux have been charged with home invasion and armed robbery.

Church Point Police arrested Quinton Clark, 25, of Church Point on a warrant from Eunice and has been charged with home Invasion, armed robbery and aggravated second degree battery, he said. Clark was taken to the Eunice City Jail.

Nicholas Hubbard, 18, of Church Point is wanted on a warrant for home invasion and armed robbery, Fontenot said.
