March 16
Preston Ross Stevens, 31, 551 Nimitz St., Eunice; simple battery and criminal damage to property.
Anthony Powell, 22, 520 2nd St., Eunice; bench warrant for obstruction of road.

An 18-year-old Eunice man was arrested Sunday and charged with three counts of simple burglary, felony theft, illegal carrying of a weapon and obstruction of justice, according to Eunice police.
Eunice police interrupted someone who was in the process of stripping parts from surplus police vehicles near the Sittig Road fire station at about 3 a.m. Sunday.
Varden Guillory Sr., deputy chief, said police received a report of suspicious persons in the areas.
