In front from left are Elizabeth Heinen, Terri Miller, Lauren Burnett, Alexia Thomas, Isaiah Mcgee, and Janessa Edwards. Second row from left are Kayley Vige, Caiden Burson, Maranda Stahl, Kiley Tauzin, Jasmine Suire, Alex Gatte and Nicholas Young, and in back from left are Kayla Owens, Megan Fontenot, Breanna Scott, Kade Lomas, N’dreaka Vallaire, Indiyah Ned, Coach Jamie Smith, Juan Rojas, Brianna Jeansonne, Ting Jiang, Leah Rabon, Lane DeVillier and Ashley Johnson. Students at Central Middle School had the opportunity to use their Synergy Cent rewards, and chose an activity or reward to “cash in”. A group chose a Casual Dress Day and others’ choice was to “cash-in” inside the game room. The Synergy Project at Central Middle continues to promote positive behavior throughout the campus. One aspect of the project involves awarding the “synergy stick” to a faculty member on a weekly basis. The teachers are voted on by support personnel for exhibiting positivity, teamwork, and synergy among faculty and students. This teacher receives the “synergy stick” for the week, and gets to share and hand out “synergy cents”, which are given to students who are caught “showing their synergy”, and following PBIS rules: some of which include, being safe, respectful, and responsible.
