Charges brought in camper fire

Eunice Police arrested two men in connection with an early morning camper trailer fire in the 100 block of Prairie Avenue on June 4.
The fire was reported under the camper at 5:50 a.m. June 4, according to police radio logs.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said the two men were arrested after an investigation by the Louisiana Fire Marshal’s office.
Timothy Pousson, 32, of the 400 block of CC Duson Street, Eunice, was arrested for aggravated arson and conspiracy, police reported.
Police said they also arrested Jimmie Creech, 51, 500 block of A Street, Pensacola, Florida, for conspiracy.
Fontenot said Pousson is believed to be one who set the fire, Fontenot said. Creech planned the fire, he said.
Fontenot said the fire was in retaliation.
