Ozelia Simon

Funeral services for Ozelia Simon will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 4025 Grapevine St., Houston, Texas. The pastor of St. Benedict Catholic Church will officiate at the service.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Rosary being prayed at 5:00 pm, both at Frank Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 150 Town Home Drive, Eunice, LA on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Burial will follow at St. Mathilda Catholic Church Cemetery, Eunice, LA with Father Darren Eldridge officiating.
Mrs. Simon, a native of Eunice and a resident of Houston,diedat her residence on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 5:30 pm.
She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was a resident of Houston for the past 40 years.
Survivors include: three sons: Felicien Simon (Hazel) of Eunice, Forrest Peter Simon (Gloria) of Houston,, and Joseph Simon (Norman) of Murrieta, Calif.; two daughters: Rozelia Simon Spikes of Houston, and Linda Kelly (Herman) of Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Shewas preceded in death by her husband, Dominic Simon; her parents, Monroe Anderson and Lena Victorian Clophus; three brothers: Murphy, Linton and Lindsey Clophus; five sisters: Ester Ardoin, Amelia Pitre, Hazel Joubert, Nola Clophus and Eva Sam.
Pallbearers will be: Kevin Simon, Kim Simon, Brian Simon, Marcus Spikes, Stacy Spikes and Osby Kelly.
