Fontenot, Turner exchange vows during evening December ceremony

St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice served as the setting for the nuptial liturgy, double-ring ceremony uniting Danielle Elyse Fontenot and Randy Stuart Turner in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held on Friday, December 27 at 7 p.m. with Fr. Clinton Sensat officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kerry and Fran Fontenot of Eunice; and the groom is the son of Randy and Mindy Turner of Eunice.
Vocalist during the ceremony was Sara Pulling accompanied by pianist Jan Pullin, and trumpeter Joe Stemplewski.
The church lectors were Alex Lee and Tyler Fontenot.
Ushers were Trent Vidrine of Eunice, Dalton Herrington of Minden and Jeffery Burge of Eunice.
The bride, given away by her father, was stunning in a slim intricate laced gown with button over zipper closure.
The gown featured a beautiful high mandarin keyhole back and fishtail train finished with scalloped edging. Swarovski crystals were delicately sprinkled throughout with a rich decorative beading at the empire waist.
Her headpiece was an elegant one-tier fingertip length veil embellished with a delicate beaded edge.
She carried a hand-held bouquet of Virginia and blush roses, ivory hydrangea and green hypericum. Diamond studs and small white feathers were tucked inside the bouquet. The bouquet was tied together and wrapped with sequin beads and pearl ribbon.
Aungelle Fontenot of Eunice, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridal attendants included Jessica Turner of Eunice, sister-in-law of the groom; Emilee Trisler of Rayville, future sister-in-law of the groom; Emily Turner and Katie Klein, both friends of the bride, both of Eunice.
The bridesmaids wore chiffon claret empire waist gowns. The gowns featured horizontal ruching accented with a rhinestone brooch and a draped A-line skirting. To accent the dress, they wore a black off-the-shoulder fur wrap.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of ivory lisianthus, ivory roses, and green hypericum. Each bouquet was tied together with ivory ribbon and a bow centered with a rhinestone brooch.
Serving as flower girl was Ella Hebert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Hebert of Baton Rouge.
Best man was Jacob Fontenot of Eunice, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen included Trey Turner of Eunice, brother of the groom; Seth Turner of Monroe, brother of the groom; Clay Babineaux of Baton Rouge, cousin of the groom; and Beau Leger of Eunice, friend of the groom.
The groom wore an elegant black notched lapel tuxedo jacket with matching pant, ivory shirt, vest and Winsor tie. The groomsmen wore a black notched lapel tuxedo jacket with matching pant, ivory shirt and claret color vest and Windsor tie.
A reception was held at the Point-Aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia and have made their home in Eunice.
The bride is a graduate of Eunice High and Louisiana State University Eunice, and is currently employed as a pharmacy technician at Winn Dixie in Eunice.
The groom is a graduate of Eunice High, Louisiana State University Eunice. He was a catcher for the LSUE Bengals and for Ole Miss Baseball. He is currently an MiLB player in the Minnesota Twins Organization.
