Foreman, Kelly exchange vows during evening ceremony

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne served as the setting for the evening ceremony uniting Madeline Annie Foreman and Drake Allen Kelly in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held on Saturday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. with Reverend Kendal Faulk officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael David Foreman of Rayne, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Patrick Gautreaux of Rayne, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Leon Foreman of Crowley.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raynold Stanley Loewer of Eunice, and Mr. Leslie Kim Kelly of Breaux Bridge, and the grandson of Mrs. Elaine Fortson and the late Melvin Fortson, Sr., and Mrs. Lessie Miller and the late Charles Kelly.
The church’s outdoor entrance featured wreaths of mixed flowers in peach and ivory. The church altar was flanked with flowers on columns and gold urns were filled with mixed peach, blush and ivory flowers.
Church pew markers were accented with a clutch of ivory hydrangea, peach roses, blush roses tied with ivory satin ribbon along with ivory lanterns of candles.
Organist during the ceremony was Kip Faulk. Vocalist was Sarah Kirksey.
Ushers were Ty Melancon, Jr. and Anthony Cart.
The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in an all-lace fit and flare Allure bridal gown. The gown featured details of intricate ivory lace on a light gold satin lining. Enhancing the romance of the dress was a high illusion neckline with scalloped-laced back that featured openings with multiple keyhole button enclosures.
The gown was finished with buttons from the waist into a semi-cathedral train with a scalloped edge.
Her headpiece was a simple organza mid-length veil. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, ivory majolica roses, Dusty Miller, white O’hara, seeded eucaltyptus, accented with ivory ribbon. Included inside the bouquet were her maternal grandmother’s rosary and maternal grandparents wedding rings.
Emily Anne Arceneaux served as maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Caroline Thevis, Leah Gossen, Tristen Duhon, Megan Doucet, Brittany David, Ally Kelly, and Andrea Foreman.
The bridesmaids wore an elegant Jenny Yoo dress in blush luxe chiffon. The Vivienne featured a classic bateau neckline with fine vertical gathers that radiated out from the center.
The back neckline dropped into a deep-“V” just above the inner bodice creating a glamorous feminine-look. The floor-length dress featured an A-line creation with a natural waistline that fell into delicate soft-gathers.
The attendants carried bouquets of ivory hydrangea, peach roses, peach berries, peach stock, seeded eucalyptus, Dusty Miller accented with ossiana ribbon.
Serving as flower girl was Ella Maria O’Meara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick O’Meara.
She wore an ivory organza, tea-length full skirted A-line dress. The dress was accented with an elegant blush pink satin bow, sash, and tails at the waist. She also wore a pearl headpiece, which was part of the bride’s maternal grandmother’s wedding veil.
Serving as best man was John Jude Scelfo.
Groomsmen were John Edward Hundley, Matthew Jones, Seth Fruge, J.W. Faulk, Lucas Kelly, Andrew Welter and Christopher Foreman.
Ring bearers were Kolton Dale Cini, son of Brittany and Carl Cini; and Carter Ashton Kelly, son of Ally and Lucas Kelly.
Kolton carried an heirloom pillow from the parents of the bride’s wedding day; and Carter carried a sign which read, “Uncle Drake, here comes your girl.”
A reception was held at The Point-Aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.
The reception hall was decorated with a grape vine arch of lights at the entrance way, along with heart-shaped wreaths accented with assorted flowers.
Guests signed in at a wooden bench accented with a wedding quilt. Guest table linens included elegant champagne sequins and were topped with large gold trumpets of ivory roses, ivory mojolica roses, and seeded eucalyptus. The trumpets were surrounded by candles.
A memory table with pictures of deceased grandparents and family members was displayed.
The reception hall was decorated with laced votive candles, ivory and gold lanterns with candles, and picture frames of the bride and groom.
The bridal cake rested upon a table accented with ivory willow table linens.
The groom’s cake table was a wooden barrel with the wedding date engraved on it. It was topped with a round glass cover.
The bride’s cake was a four-tiered vanilla creation with strawberry and bavarian cream fillings with smooth ivory buttercream icing. Victorian lace and ivory satin ribbon accented the bottom of each tier, along with string of ivory buttercream pearls.
The groom’s cake was a two-tiered chocolate cake with ivory buttercream icing with a chocolate drizzle. Fresh strawberries topped the cake.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Atlantis Paradies Island Resort in the Bahamas.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held on Friday, July 17 at Ruby’s Restaurant and Courtyard in Eunice.
The bride is a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Crowley and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in early childhood education.
The bride is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at St. Edmund Catholic School in Eunice.
The groom is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Baton Rouge Community College where he earned an Associates degree in Business Administration.
He is currently employed as a Materials Coordinator with Precision Cutting in Eunice.
The couple have made their home in Eunice.
