Kim and Stan Loewer’s residence at 421 N. Second St. received the Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden’s Club marker of Residential Yard of the Week presented by Connie Thibodeaux, volunteer member.

Eunice Elementary Pre-k students studied a unit “My Family, My Community.” Nathan Clark is handcuffed by his grandfather Randy Fontenot, Eunice city court probation officer. Fontenot talked to the children about his job duties. Pre-K teachers are Tabitha Niles and Kim O’Brien.
The 7th annual EHS Alumni Tournament proved to be another huge success. The EHS Alumni Association profited a total of $6,005.82 from this year’s August tourney, and from that the Alumni donated $1,000 to the EHS Bobcat Baseball team and $1,000 to the EHS Lady Cats Softball team.
This week’s Student of the Week is Courtney B. Phillips, a senior at St. Edmund High School. Her parents are Mike Dupre and Cecil Phillips.
