River of Life Fellowship in Iota held their annual community carnival Saturday. There were live animals at their petting zoo, face painting, train rides for the children, carnival-style games and more.

The Acadian Baptist Center near Richard hosted the Acadia Baptist Academy Reunion on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8. Graduates from the 50s, 60s, and 70s gathered to reminisce and share stories and pictures from ABA’s “glory days.” The reunion is held every October on ABC’s grounds.
In conjunction with East Elementary’s October Operation Greatness celebration, the school recognized breast cancer survivors connected to its’ faculty, staff and student body.
