Escorted by her father, the bride wore a magnolia white dress of embellished corded Venise lace appliqués with a jeweled belt. Delicate scalloping edged the sleeveless bodice, Queen Anne v-neckline, diamond-shaped open back, and the hemline.
Her headpiece included a single layer illusion veil in fingertip length was bordered in matching lace and tucked into her chignon. Her bouquet featured flowers in her clutch bouquet with confetti and red roses, rust calla lilies, freesia and red hypericum berries. Woven into her bouquet was heirloom jewelry belonging to her grandmothers and the groom’s maternal great-grandmothers Blanche Delaune Loupe and Kate Ellet Byrnes and his great-great grandmothers Mathilde Kern Delaune and Berry Jefferies Byrnes.

For the candlelight ceremony, fresh greenery with floor length ribbons trimmed exterior church doors, the inner sanctuary entrance, pews and altar candelabra. Tall baroque silver candlesticks on the vestibule tables were accented with white tallow berries. The wreaths, swags, and arrangements of local foliage included magnolias, live oaks, sweet olives and camellias, which were interspersed with jasmine and honeysuckle vines. Sprigs of seeded ligustrum and budding sasanquas were nestled in knots and bows of burlap and ivory duchess satin doubled-faced ribbon.
A reception followed at Point-aux-Loups Springs Ballroom on Bayou Des Cannes in Iota. The entry table was a vintage buffet which held a gallery wrapped canvas that served as a guest registry. Wooden boxes handcrafted by the groom were filled with fresh flowers in autumn colors centered on tables skirted in white crinkled cotton and damask.
The bride’s cake was four tiers garnished with freesia, confetti roses and navy ribbon.  The icing was homemade buttercream on the almond layers which were filled with raspberry, fudge and coconut custard.
The groom’s double tier chocolate ganache and strawberry cake was designed in a fleur de lis Saints-LSU theme.
