The Fourth Annual Joe Nagata Football Jamboree featured the Eunice High Bobcats against the Notre Dame Pioneers in Friday action at Blue Jay Field.

The high school football regular season doesn’t begin until next Friday, but the jamborees will give the local fans a preview what they can expect from their respective teams.
For both the Eunice High and St. Edmund football teams are known for their rich traditions.
The two schools will honor all the head coaches in their respective programs Friday night at the Joe Nagata Memorial Jamboree.
Several Bobcat classes earned bragging rights for a year as the champions were crowned at the 10th annual Eunice High Alumni softball tournament.
Class of 2011 won the Rookie League championship with a 15-14 win over Class of 2012.
OPELOUSAS – The St. Landry Parish jamboree has been around for 19 seasons.
Eunice head football coach Paul Trosclair has been a part of every contest since that first jamboree held at Bobcat Stadium on 1997.
