$100,000 ALL STAKES PICK 4 BOLSTERS TURF SPRINT DAY JUNE 21 AT EVANGELINE DOWNS

Opelousas, Louisiana -An all stakes $100,000 guaranteed Pick 4 will be the wagering centerpiece on an outstanding twilight card of racing for the inaugural running of the $300,000 Evangeline Downs Turf Sprint, Saturday, June 21 at Evangeline Downs Racetrack Casino & Hotel.

Turf Sprint Day will begin with a special 3:50 p.m. CT first post time. The $100,000 all-stakes pick 4 will consist of races 5 through 8 on the 11 race Evangeline Downs program.

In addition to the $300,000 Evangeline Downs Turf Sprint, which will be run at 5 furlongs for 3-year-olds and up, four other stakes races will populate the 11 race card: the $100,000 Opelousas Stakes on turf for fillies & mares, 3-year-olds and up at 1 1/16th miles; the $100,000 Evangeline Mile at one mile on the main track for 3-year-olds and up; the $70,000 Lafayette for 3-year-old Louisiana bred horses and the $70,000 Acadiana for 3-year-old Louisiana bred fillies.

The final order of the all-stakes guaranteed Pick 4 will be announced following entries for the Turf Sprint stakes races, which will take place on Tuesday, June 17.
