Black team takes 3-1 lead in Bengals Fall series; Game Five tonight

The LSU Eunice baseball team's Fall World Series saw the Black team win 6-3 on Monday night to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series.
Newcomer Mitch Sewald earned the win on the mound for the Black squad, tossing four no-hit innings and striking out nine batters.
Offensively, sophomore Sam Walley and redshirt freshman Mark Fontenot each tallied 2-for-3 nights at the plate, with Walley connecting on a double and scoring three runs while Fontenot drove in two RBIs and scored once as well.
Team Gold saw sophomore Zack Hamilton throw four innings and allow just three hits and one run while being saddled with the loss. He struck out two batters and walked two additional hitters.
Freshman Will Watson notched two hits, including a double, an RBI and scored twice, while redshirt sophomore Trey Caswell finished with two hits and drove in two RBIs in the losing effort.
The Black squad will try and win the series Tuesday night, as game five is set to begin at 6 p.m. at Bengal Stadium
