ENID, Oklahoma - The top-ranked LSU Eunice Bengals stayed in the winner’s bracket with a 8-1 win over Kellogg Community College Wednesday night.
ENID, Oklahoma – Bengal pitcher Sam Walley struck out the final two batters he faced in the bottom of the ninth inning as top-ranked LSU Eunice held on for a 5-4 win over Scottsdale Community College on Monday afternoon at David Allen Memorial Park.
Sophomore righthander Sam Walley pitched a complete game shutout to lead the LSU Eunice Bengals to a 6-0 victory over Hinds Community College Saturday night in the championship game of the Division Region 23 Tournament.
The field is set for the NJCAA Divsion II Region 23 tournament.
And it could be the toughest region with the top two teams in the country.
No. 1 ranked Hinds Community College (41-5) will play East Mississippi Community College (29-16) at 3 p.m. today to open the regional.
The second-ranked Bengals begin their quest for the trip to Enid as LSU Eunice will be the host team for the NJCAA Division II Region 23 baseball tournament that begins on Thursday.
