4th person arrested on attempted murder charges

A fourth person faces four counts of attempted murder after an April 29 shooting in the 400 block of Jelks Street.
Marlon Rendell Eaglin, 25, 214 Halfway House Road, Lot 1, Arnaudville, was arrested by Grand Coteau police, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
The shooting occurred in a drug deal gone sour, Fontenot said.
Also arrested are:
Deontrey Dequinton Moten, 24, 224 Beliman Lane, Grand Coteau; Paul Johntay Powell, 21, 305 Oak Blvd., Grand Coteau; and David Dwayne Little, 25, 112 Chachere Road, Church Point.
They are accused in the shooting of Kiara Rideau, who was wounded in both feet and the lower abdomen.
At least a dozen shots were fired into the Jelks Street residence at about 1 a.m. There was a woman and two children, ages 3 and 4, in the residence at the time of the shooting, police said.
The woman was on the phone with a police dispatcher when the shooting the occurred.
Fontenot said investigators believe two weapons, a handgun and rifle, were used in the shooting.
Bail on Little and Moten has been set at $400,000. No bail information on Eaglin and Powell was available.
