Church Point couple arrested for indecent behavior with girl, 10

A Church Point couple has been arrested following an investigation into an incident that was reported to the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon his office received a complaint on July 29 regard possible indecent behavior with a 10-year-old female juvenile.
Following an investigation into the incident, investigators obtained a warrant of arrests for 28-year-old Charles L. Breaux and 31-year-old Tasha Denee Breaux, both of the 2100 block of Richard School Road, Church Point, a news release from Melancon stated.
They were arrested without incident, he said.
Melancon stated that the Breaux’s were charged with attempted molestation of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
They were both booked into the Acadia Parish Jail with bond set at $125,000 by District Judge David Smith, he said.
