Evangeline arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 10 bookings recently in the parish jail.
Arrested were the following:
•Crystal Lynn Savoie, 28, 2377 Goodman Drive, Lot 7, Ville Platte, was charged October 10, with theft over $4,000. Savoie was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Brandie Nicole Sexton, 29, 2371 Woodman Drive, Ville Platte, was charged October 10, with theft of $4,000 by credit card. Sexton was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Nusha Marie Bowman, 19, 421 Edward Knotoe Thomas St., Ville Platte, was charged October 10, with perjury and resisting an officer. Bowman was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•April Dawn Landreneau, 33, 1089 Veillon Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 11, with phone harassment (three counts) and stalking (two counts). Landreneau was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond.
•Larry Lewis, 49, 5792 Pine Prairie Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 12, with DWI (first offense) and improper backing. Lewis was released from jail on a $1,186.50 bond.
•Amber Bose Fudak, 33, 1123 Railroad St., Pine Prairie, was charged October 12, with issuing a worthless check. Fundak was released from jail on a $400 bond.
•Shelton Treymore Robinson, 27, 101 Railroad St., Mamou, was charged October 14, with theft over $500. Robinson was being held in jail on a 2,500 bond at press time.
•Monquart M. Serie, 23, 1090 Three Sisters Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 11, with aggravated assault on a police officer with a weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Serie was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•Lucas Latorre, 202 Pear Lane, Ville Platte, was charged October 15, with domestic abuse battery (two counts), aggravated second degree battery, false imprisonment and resisting an officer. Latorre was being held in jail on a $60,000 bond at press time.
•Joshua James Freeman, 25, 222 East LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged October 15, with second degree battery. Freeman was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
