Evangeline arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 13 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Joshua M. Bordelon, 25, 318 First St., Oberlin, was charged October 29, with aggravated assault. Bordelon was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Anthony Scott Courville, 42, 908 Birch St., Mamou, was charged October 29, with possession of stolen goods. Courville was being held in jail on a $12,500 bond at press time.
•Amelia Armise Duplichain, 208 East St., Apt. 170, Mamou, was charged October 29, with possession of stolen goods. Duplichain was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Terricka Richard, 27, 714 Harvey LeBas Drive, Ville Platte, was charged October 30, with unlawful disruption of a school. Richard was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Cynthia Marie Boone, 701 First St., Mamou, was charged October 30, with issuing worthless checks. Boone was released from jail on a $1,750 bond.
•Tiffany Elaine PreJean, 21, 6878 Highway 167 North, Ville Platte, was charged October 30, with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. PreJean was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Cody Keith Fontenot, 30, 1069 Chicot Park Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 30, with failure to perform work paid for. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
•Kenneth James Romero, 32, 900 Hackberry St., Mamou, was charged October 31, with vehicular homicide and hit and run. Romero was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•John G. Deville Jr., 42, 580 Bayou Marron Road, Ville Platte, was charged November 4, with injury by arson, arson with intent to defraud, criminal conspiracy and obstruction of justice. Deville was released from jail on a $75,000 bond.
•Kimberly Voris, 26, 820 Ash St., Mamou, was charged November 1, with simple escape and simple criminal damage to property. Voris was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Holden V. Ardoin, 25, 1229 Fruge St., Ville Platte, was charged November 2, with possession of a firearm on premises, possession of a firearm or concealed weapon and illegal possession of stolen firearms. Ardoin was being held in jail on a $35,000 bond at press time.
•Fredrick J. Luben, 53, 1122 M.L.K. Drive, Basile, was charged November 4, with theft under $500, open container and trespassing. Luben was being held in jail on a $1,000 bond at press time.
•Michael D. Thomas Sr., 22, 4312 Highway 10, Washington, was charged November 4, with domestic abuse battery and simple criminal damage. Thomas was released from jail on a $7,500 bond.
