Evangeline arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Joe Koby J.J. Mauley, 33, 130 W. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was charged November 29, with no insurance and careless operation. Mauley was being held in jail on a $466.50 bond at press time.
•Justin David Carriere, 18, 1879 Prudence Highway, Church Point, was charged November 29, with speeding and reckless operation. Carriere was released from jail on a $481.50 bond.
•Francisco J.L. Lopez, 50, 200 Seventh St., Mamou, was charged December 1, with DWI (first offense), open container and overtaking and passing a school bus. Lopez was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Aaron Keith Sutton, 35, 212 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged Dece,ber 2, with no license plate, suspended driver’s license and no insurance. Sutton remained in jail on a $666.50 bond t press time.
•Hunter James Holcomb, 22, 1414 N. White St., Basile, was charged December 2, with reckless operation, careless operation, obstruction of justice, no seat belt and no driver’s license. Holcomb remained in jail on a $801.50 bond at press time.
•Candace Lynn Menard, 29, 2412 Third St., Basile, was charged December 4, with theft over $500 (six counts) and theft over $1,500 (three counts). Menard was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Ashley Renee Henry, 23, 610 Main St., Apt. 154, Mamou, was charged December 4, with DWI (second offense) and careless operation. Henry was released from jail on a $1,876 bond.
•Ricky James Jack, 41, 702 Young St., Ville Platte, was charged December 4, with sexual battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jack was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
•Kenneth Wayne Fontenot, 44, 1027 Villion Road, Ville Platte, was charged December 6, with criminal mischief. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $2,500 bond at press time.
•Emerette Waldo Harris, 47, 19871 Barbara Lane, Mamou, was charged December 8, with domestic abuse battery. Harris was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Scott Ricky McGee, 33, 1204 Poinciana St., Mamou, was charged December 8, with felony theft (two counts), criminal damage to property (two counts) and unauthorized entry. McGee was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•Tyler Jade mcDaniel, 24, 809 Redwood St., Mamou, was charged December 8, with domestic abuse battery and resisting arrest. McDaniel was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond t press time.
•Arthur William Buxton Jr., 22, 416 Fred St., Mamou, was charged December 7, with criminal damage to property. Buxton was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Chet Mitchell Guillory, 17, 3534 Bond Road, Mamou, was charged December 9, with second degree battery. Guillory was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•C.L. James Arvie, 19, 613 S. Soileu St., Ville Platte, wss chrged December 9, with aggravated rape. Arvie was being held in jail on a $100,000 bond at press time.
•Amber Leger, 37, 3422 Second St., Basile, was charged December 9, with disturbing the peace, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. Leger was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Angela Nicole Fontenot, 32, 2459 Smith St., Basile, was charged December 9, with improper supervision of a minor, improper use of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of Schedule IV. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
•Bradon Joseph Hillstock, 31, 2451 Smith St., Basile, was charged December 9, with illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17 and distribution of Schedule IV. Hillstock was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Frederick G. Bellard, 39, 3422 Second St., Basile, was charged December 9, with disturbing the peace, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. Bellard was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Edward Scott Ardoin, 32, 4684 Pine Point Road, Ville Platte, was charged December 9, with domestic abuse with serious injuries and simple criminal damage to property. Ardoin was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
