Iota woman charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile

A 21-year-old Iota woman was arrested and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile, Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon reported.
Katelyn P. Lapoint Bedoya, of the 100 block of Oakwood Lane, is charged in an incident reported on June 24 involving a 12-year-old female juvenile, Melancon said.
Bedoya was arrested without incident and was placed in the Acadia Parish Jail with bail set at $100,000 by District Judge Kristian Earles.
