Mamou arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported five recent bookings into the town jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Caleb Roberts, 22, 902 East St., Mamou, was charged August 11, with aggravated battery. Roberts was transferred to the parish jail.
•Linda Stoker, 37, 821 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged August 15, with aggravated assault. Stoker was transferred to the parish jail.
•Ronney Thomas, 57, 1305 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged August 15, with disturbing the peace by language. Thomas bonded out of jail the same day.
•Nicholas Broussard, 25, 1109 Chestnut St., Mamou, was charged August 17, with failure to report an accident. Broussard bonded out of jail the same day.
•Morgan Freeman, 28, 219 Cross St., Mamou, was charged August 17, with simple battery. Freeman remained in jail at press time.
