Two allegedly jumped in car at gas station, fired shot, stole purse and fled in Caddy

 Two Opelousas men who allegedly fired a shot in a woman’s car parked at a gasoline pump late one night this month before grabbing her purse and fleeing are charged with various felonies.
Amos Milton, 33, and Reggie D. Green, 28, were arrested following investigation of an Oct. 8 incident.
At approximately midnight,  the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting an armed robbery at Jay’s Convenient Store located off of Hwy. 182 in Sunset.
 The victim said that while she was sitting in her car parked at the gas pump, a ma entered the back seat while pointing a revolver to her head demanding her purse.
The victim stated that the suspect shot one round between the driver and passenger’s seat before taking her purse. Surveillance video showed the suspect leave in a silver Cadillac, exiting the parking lot traveling south towards Sunset.
The investigation revealed the owner and driver of the silver Cadillac to be Green. The primary suspect was identified from a photo line-up to be Milton.
Milton is charged with armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm and felony possession of a firearm. Green is charged with principle to armed robbery with a firearm and principle to aggravated assault with a firearm.
Milton is being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail with a bond of $170,000. Green is also being held in the parish jail with no bond.
